Our Wealth Solutions team attended the 2026 Annual Conference of STEP Brazil and IBRAPP – Instituto Brasileiro de Planejamento Patrimonial, held at the Pavilhão da Bienal in São Paulo under the theme “Plan Today, Preserve Tomorrow.”
The event brought together around 500 professionals to discuss some of the key issues currently shaping wealth and succession planning in Brazil: income and consumption tax reforms, the new ITCMD rules introduced by Complementary Law 227/26, international succession structures, and succession planning within family-owned business groups.
Turim was represented by members of our Wealth Solutions team: Partners Gustavo Lutfi and Marcelo Bandeira de Mello, as well as Maria Julia Cid Knibel, Tax Attorney, and Gabriel Lima.
