Febraban Tech 2026
Future in Focus
Last week, Turim attended FEBRABAN TECH 2026 in São Paulo, represented by Gustavo Molina Freneda Benites and Fernando Paes Lopes from the Technology team. Under the theme “Intelligent Agents, Human Leadership,” the event brought together financial institutions, technology companies, fintechs, and industry experts to discuss the main innovation trends shaping the financial sector.
Artificial intelligence was at the center of the agenda, with discussions on governance and ethics in the use of AI agents, fraud prevention, and cybersecurity. The program also covered topics such as Open Finance, Banking as a Service, and cryptoassets.
One of the highlights was seeing how these issues are being addressed across different levels of the industry, from companies developing new technologies to the executives leading strategic decisions at some of Brazil’s largest financial institutions. The discussions provided insight into the challenges currently receiving the most attention and the different approaches being adopted to address them.
Beyond the panel discussions, the event was also an opportunity to explore new tools, exchange experiences, and build connections with companies and potential service providers.
At Turim, closely following technological advances is part of an ongoing effort to identify new solutions and initiatives that can enhance the way we operate.
