Ensina Brasil: Education, Purpose and Impact
Ensina Brasil
Today, we hosted a special event at our São Paulo office with Ana Montosa, Co-founder and CEO of Ensina Brasil, and Claudia Sender, Chair of the organization’s Board, for an inspiring conversation on the role of education in driving social transformation.
The session was opened by Gustavo Marini, Founder and Co-Chairman of Turim’s Board, and highlighted the journey of Ensina Brasil — one of the country’s leading independent education organizations and part of the global Teach For All network. The project’s mission is to train and support young leaders to work as teachers in under-resourced public schools, amplifying educational impact and shaping future agents of change.
We also welcomed Ivan Gontijo Akerman, a program alumnus and currently Education Policy Manager at Todos Pela Educação, who shared his experience and the practical outcomes of Ensina’s work within public school systems.
With impressive results — more than 330,000 students directly impacted and 85% of alumni still working in education or social impact — Ensina Brasil demonstrates that it is possible to make a difference and inspire a new generation of leaders committed to the future of education.
We thank Ana, Claudia, and Ivan for an inspiring discussion and for sharing their experiences, which reinforce our commitment to supporting initiatives focused on human development, education, and lasting social impact.
