Held on September 18 at the Demarest Advogados office, the event organized by the Tributaristas Cariocas group brought together female lawyers from Rio de Janeiro, representing different firms and companies, to discuss key topics on wealth taxation.

Maria Júlia Knibel Cid, a member of Turim’s Legal and Compliance team, presented the panel “Perspectives for ITCMD – Recent legislative changes and proposals under review”, highlighting the effects of the updates, such as the progressivity of the tax, the potential incidence on cross-border transfers, and the impacts on usufruct, trusts, privately held companies, and real estate located in different States.
